Huge Crowd Gathering Leads To Stampede, 85 died!

The holy month of Ramzan is going on and Muslims across the globe are celebrating the month. In a few days, the month is going to come to an end and following this, an event was held to distribute the aides. However, the gathering turned disaster as a few people reportedly passed away while a few others sustained injuries.
As per the media reports, an event was held at a school in Yemen's capital Sanaa to distribute aid to people. Thousands of people gathered for the occasion. However, a stampede was reported that resulted in not less than 85 people passing away and more than 320 people sustaining injuries.
The viral pictures and videos show people lying on the floors. We can hear screams from people. It appears that the injured victims made the noises and people who lost their loved ones might have also made screams of pain and loss. It is said that women and children are among the deceased victims.
The injured victims were rushed to the nearby hospitals for treatment. Though there is no official information, it is said that the condition of a few injured victims is critical and treatment is being given to the victims. The authorities might release a statement soon.
While what happened is a big disaster, the stampede happening ahead of Eid al-Fitr adds more pain to the incident. People who gathered at the schools to receive the aides had to sustain injuries while a few others passed away due to stampede. However, there is no information about the reason behind the stampede.
