Hyd Drunk Drivers to get Jail Term

Drunken Drivers could no more get away with a chalan if caught in an inebriated condition. Jail Term is almost certain in such cases from now onwards.
Much to the shock, A local court recently sent a businessman to jail for a period of 14 days. A bangle store owner was caught drunken driving at Osmania Medical College. While the permissible limit of Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was 30 mg/100 ml, This Guy was found with 173 mg/ 100 ml BAC. He was produced in the III Metropolitan Magistrate court and the Judge sentenced him to 14 days imprisonment apart from a chalan of Rs 4,100.
In fact, This Businessman was was caught with a similar offence on May 24th this year. He, however, got away with a find of Rs 3,100 then. This time, the judge took the repeat offense into account and sent him to jail.
Last weekend, Around 190 people have been booked on charges of drunken drive. Out of them, As many as 100 people were sent to jail.
