Hyd Techies arrested for cheating Flipkart

B Naveen, an employee of Tech Mahindra, and Atul Sharma, an employee of Amazon, were taken into custody by Chikkadpally police for allegedly duping Flipkart.
In January this year, B Naveen booked iPhone 6 on Flipkart and payment was done using the credit card of Atul Sharma. Upon receiving the delivery, They complained to Flipkart that there was no iPhone in it and all they could find is a rubber & papers. Soon, Flipkart refunded the amount to the duo.
The E-Commerce Giant came to know during the audit that the iPhone was shipped from the godown and its been used by an individual in Hyderabad based on the IMEI Number. Finally, They came to know that Atul Sharma's Brother has been using the smartphone.
During the investigation, Naveen and Atul Sharma admitted to have cheated Flipkart with wrong information. The E-Commerce Firm is now mulling to take serious action against the duo.
