Hyd Doctor Tortured In Saudi, Sushma Responds!

Wife of a Hyderabad-based Doctor appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for the safe return of her husband who was tortured in Saudi Arabia.
Dr.Pavithra Mallam: 'My Husband Aneel Mallam Balaiah went to Saudi in 2012 to work in a Dentoplast Centre. The contract has been renewed in 2014 and the commitment ended by October 2016. Whereas, The Employer hasn't been permitting him to leave. My Husband was told by Owner Ali that few patients had sued the Centre in March for not providing free treatment. Now, The Employer says he willn't let him go until the case ends. No salary was paid to My Husband since five months'.
When she tweeted to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Pavithra Mallam was asked to share complete details about the issue to offer necessary assistance from the Central Government.
Indian Embassy asked Aneel Mallam Balaiah to lodge a complaint against kafeel in Labour Court. But, Pavithra says her Husband is scared to do so as Kafeel may harm him.
