By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Aug 2018 9:02 AM GMTHyderabad High Court served notices to Speaker Madhusudhana Chary citing contempt of court over failing to restore the membership of expelled Congress MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Sampath Kumar. Law Secretary V Niranjan Rao and Assembly Secretary V Narasimha Charyulu were asked to appear in court on September 17th. Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao would go to any extent in certain issues. Despite repeated setbacks in this matter related to expulsion of Congress MLAs, TRS Supremo is no way ready to implement the court order.
Now, Telangana Government decided to appeal to the Division Bench of High Court regarding the order of Single Judge. The hearing is going to be on August 21st.
Komatireddy and Sampath Kumar were expelled citing inappropriate behaviour in Telangana Assembly during Governor's address in March this year. They challenged the decision in the High Court and received a favorable judgement. However, TRS Government isn't at all interested in accepting these Congress Leaders as MLAs.
