Hyderabad Metro Rail: Smart Card & Token rules!

The response for Hyderabad Metro Rail from the public has been terrific. On an average, Two Lakh People travelled in the metro per day during the first three days. L&T is expecting much bigger response on Saturday and Sunday.
Have a look at some of the rules to be followed…
i) You should enter the station within 30 minutes after buying the token
ii) You must reach the destination within 3 hours, or else Token goes invalid
iii) A penalty of Rs 10 per hour will be imposed if you spend more time in the Metro Station. Maximum Fine would be Rs 50.
iv) If you travel beyond the destination on the token, Then the extra charge will be collected when you get down the Metro Rail.
v) You could buy ticket for travelling from Miyapur to Nagole at once. Two Tokens will be offered as you need to change the train at Ameerpet inter-changing station. If you don't want to travel after reaching Ameerpet, Return the token at the counter within 30 minutes to get back refund.
vi) 5 percent discount on Smart Card is applicable till next March. Refund of the amount can't be given if you lose Smart Card or if it got damaged.
vii) Smart Card can also be recharged through L&T Metro Website, Metro T-Savari App and PayTm.
vii) You can book Smart Card using T Savari App by paying a delivery charge of Rs 25.
