Just 20 Minutes Journey To Airport

Shamshabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is one of the most modern and heavy traffic airports in India. Per Annum, 1.8 crores of people travel through this airport to various destinations.
With such an ever-growing demand, Telangana Government is planning to finish the Metro Rail to Shamshabad airport by general elections in 2019.
Normal Metro Rail works are going on in other areas of Hyderabad but this project has come up recently and it took more interest of Government.
As the Government is planning to improve the outer ring road areas and make it a commercial destination for business people, a metro from Gacchibowl covering 37 kilometers distance is a more viable plan for Government.
They are thinking to increase the regular speed of the Metro Rail from 85 Km/hr to 135 km/hr and also limit the stations to 5 at maximum.
Hence, the travel time will reduce to 20 minutes. Goverment is planning to complete this project as soon as possible and they have released initial fund of 400 crores already.
Now, Telangana Government is looking to gather more 4650 crores from the International Financial Institutions as a loan and the amount could be released soon it seems.
Well, the project is taken up as a prestige issue by Telangana Government and they want to prove that they are a Government of action than words at National level as well with this project.
