A Good News for all Hyderabadis & People of Telangana. In the Economic Survey of India 2016-17, Hyderabad was ranked No.1 in Transparency & Accountability in Municipal Administration, Property Tax, Licenses issued by GHMC & Public Participation.
Municipal Minister K Taraka Rama Rao can't ask for anything better: 'Congrats to GHMC: GoI, Economic Survey 2016-17, ranks our city No. 1 in Transparency, Accountability, Participation & own Revenue'.
When it comes to Corporation generating its own revenue as a Percentage of Total Expenditure, Hyderabad and Pune jointly shared the top spot.
