'I am a strict Non-Vegetarian'

Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu makes it clear food is a matter of personal choice. 'I am a strict non-vegetarian. Nobody told me what to eat and what not to!,' he clarified, while responding on the criticism over ban on cow trade and slaughter.
Venkaiah Naidu alleged few Media Houses has been deliberately holding debates on non-existing beef ban. He found fault with media for holding debates on the topic, 'Whether or not India will be converted into a vegetarian country?'.
The I&B Minister defended CBI Raids on NDTV Founder Prannoy Roy saying anybody has to follow the set of rules. When journalists described the raids as attack on freedom of press, Venkaiah Naidu explained: 'The only time freedom of press was curtailed was during 1975 Emergency. Our Government won't deny press freedom and freedom of expression. We need constructive news not destructive news...real news...news with confirmation'.
