I am not shifting to Tamil Nadu: Vijayashanti

Vijayashanti isn't active in politics after her defeat in 2014 Polls. She didn't bother to attend Congress Meetings and Protests staged by the National Party in the past three years. It was only after the demise of former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa, Vijayashanti appeared before the Media to voice her opinion. She met VK Sasikala Natarajan and appealed people to come in support of the faction led by her during the political crisis.
Since then, Speculations began doing rounds that Vijayashanti is concentrating on Tamil Nadu Politics. A statement has been issued by her condemning these rumours in circulation.
The Actress-turned-Politician explained she took a break from Politics due to health issues. She claims to be having personal rapport with Jayalalithaa and admire each other a lot. 'It was out of that respect, I extended support to AIADMK during the crisis. Jayalalithaa retained power with her welfare and development schemes. It's unfair to destabilize the AIADMK Government,' she opined.
Lastly, Vijayashanti made it clear she have no plans to shift base to Tamil Nadu. She pledges to continue her political career in Telangana itself.
