I could have become Chief Minister

Expelled AIADMK Deputy General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran claimed he could have become CM after the demise of Jayalalithaa but he didn't aspire for such a post. 'Even though VK Sasikala Natarajan could have become CM after being elected as General Secretary, She preferred O Panneerselvam to continue in the post despite Ministers and MLAs asking her to take the charge,' h added.

Dhinakaran alleged merger of factions led by Palanisamy and Panneerselvam happened because of the selfish agenda to expel Sasikala.

19 AIADMK MLAs backed Dhinakaran and they were moved to a resort in Puducherry after the meeting with Tamil Nadu Governor. On Friday, Two More MLAs extended support and this development took the count to 21. Dhinakaran hinted more number of MLAs are going to join his camp in the near future.

Whereas, Palanisamy Camp kept saying TTV Dhinakaran doesn't have the kind of support required to destabilize AIADMK Government. Few Leaders even dared to say Sasikala lacks people's support and hence Dhinakaran hadn't used her pictures during the campaigning of RK Nagar by-poll.
