Amma would have been alive if I had treated her : Dr. MN Shankar

Dr MN Shankar is an acupuncture specialist based in Chennai and he used to treat former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa. While speaking to a National media house, he has spoken about Jaya's health while he was treating Amma. He said she was suffering from multiple medical issues like Thyroid, BP, Diabetes, Arthritis Vertigo etc. She used to take heavy dosage of medicines including high disage of insuline to check her sugar levels under control. She used to take ice cream and chocolates inspite of diabetes.
He said that her health has improved dramatically after he treated her. But prolonged usage of seroids deteriorated Amma's health. He said he went to abroad after August 2016. He said by the time left to abraod, he brought Amma's health condition to normalcy through his treatment.
He opined that if he had treated Jaya, she would have been alive now. When he was asked whether he contacted Jaya family when Jaya was admitted into Apollo, he said nobody contacted him. When he tried to contact them, there was no response.
