I deserve full credit for Telangana Formation

Congress senior Leader S Jaipal Reddy claimed Telangana statehood wouldn't have been a reality without his role as an Union Ministert.
Addressing a public meeting in poll-bound Warangal, Jaipal Reddy told: "I was the only Union Minister from Telangana during UPA Regime. Whereas, There were four Union Ministers from Andhra region. It was because of my efforts as Union Minister, Telangana became a reality with Hyderabad as it capital. If not for me, Hyderabad would have been made a Union Territory".
Jaipal Reddy stated he was the one who foiled all the plans of then Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who tried to stall Telangana formation.
Responding on KCR's allegations that he clung to Union Minister's post when Telangana was boiling, Mr.Reddy asked the CM to realize he gets the complete credit for statehood being a key minister in UPA Cabinet.
