Kamal Haasan has been hitting the news headlines in the recent past for expressing his opinions on latest political developments. There are event reports that he is getting ready for a political entry. In a recent media interaction, Kamal Haasan revealed that he has suffered huge financial loss due to the bans and re-bans on his film 'Vishwaroopam'
He said that âI hate to reiterate a known fact that Vishwaroopam was banned and almost sabotaged by the then Tamil Nadu government. All my property was pledged. I was humiliated, almost destroyed.â He also said that he lost to the tune of 60 crore. For a sincere tax payer like him, it was a crippling loss. He thanked the people for supporting him and said that he has been recovered from it now.
Though it was a known fact that, then TN government has troubled him.. it is the first time Kamal opened up on the issue publicly and revealed the actual amount of financial loss.
