No Vacancies In Prakasam District: YV Subba Reddy
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Feb 2019 3:09 PM GMTYSR Congress Leadership came down heavily on AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for alleging YS Jaganmohan Reddy went to London to bring looted money ahead of 2019 Elections.
During a recent media interaction, YV Subba Reddy opined External Affairs Minister of India hasn't gone for as many foreign trips as that of Chandrababu Naidu and that too in Special Flights to store the looted money in Singapore, Malaysia & Switzerland. He went on to say, 'Just because he had that habit, Naidu is falsely assuming that other politicians would do the same. Very unfortunate that a Chief Minister made such a statement'.
Subba Reddy told, 'YS Jagan brought to the notice of Election Commission about the conspiracy of TDP to remove the votes of 56 lakh YCP Sympathisers. Even EC accepted that lakhs of votes have been scrapped in Andhra Pradesh ahead of elections. I appeal YCP Activists to ensure all the people who lost their votes get enrolled again before March first week'.
The Former MP ridiculed Chandrababu Naidu for implementing Pensions, Unemployment Allowance, Pasupu-Kunkuma and Annadata Sukhibhava Schemes two months ahead of elections. He accused TDP Supremo of trying to bribe the voters with partial implementation of these schemes. 'People made up their minds that Chandrababu Naidu won't fulfil his promises. They are determined to bring YCP to power,' he said.
YV Subba Reddy claimed BCs are indebted to YS Jaganmohan Reddy after the BC Declaration during public meeting in Eluru. He expressed the view that no other leader in the country has thought about BC Welfare in such a manner.
Clearing doubts over his candidature for Ongole MP Seat, YV Subba Reddy announced he would be contesting Lok Sabha Polls in 2019 and 2024 as well.
When quizzed if TDP MLC Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy would join YCP, Subba Reddy clarified: 'Any party would welcome strong candidates from other parties. Magunta faced defeat in 2014 contesting against YCP Candidate. How could he become strong candidate? If he is trying to shift to YCP, That means Magunta won't win on TDP Ticket. How can YCP welcome such a leader? If Jagan wishes to welcome him, I would abide by his order but I myself will contest in Ongole Parliament Segment. Let him aspire to be YCP MLC or contest as MLA'.
According to YV Subba Reddy, YCP Leadership is willing to permit the entry of only strong leaders into the party. Few leaders joined YCP before 2014 Polls and defected to TDP after the elections. So, YS Jagan has been considering all the aspects before offering consent to anyone.
YV Subba Reddy made it clear doors have been shut for 23 MLAs and 2 MPs who defected to TDP after winning on YCP Ticket. He informed that YCP already have strong candidate all over Prakasam District and hence none of the leaders from other parties can aspire for YCP Tickets.
