The prevailing situations in Ukraine had sent shocking waves across the world. The situation is concerning and bothering at the same time, which made India give best efforts to bring the Indians stuck in war-hit Ukraine. For a better result, the Indian government had roped in the Indian Air Force for the difficult task.

As many as four C-17 military transport aircraft were sent from the Air force to airlift the Indians. One of the aircraft with around 200 Indians had completed its missions by safely landing in the national capital Delhi, reports said.

Going by the information, the first aircraft had managed to bring the Indians and land at the Hindon airbase, the biggest and largest airbase in Asia located in Ghaziabad. The rest of the aircraft will also land at the same airbase.

The IAf had to enter the picture with the situation turning problematic and the issues faced by Indians are getting intense. Earlier, there were reports that the Ukrainian army troops are attacking and humiliating the Indians, while a few girls were also abducted.

Having decided not to take any chances, India took the help of the Air Force to assure a safe landing of Indians stuck in Ukraine. In a few weeks, the Indians are expected to reach home without hassle.

The Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian embassy are regularly updating Indians in Ukraine on where to reach to get airlifted. Though there are few complaints that the MEA is not giving its best, the Ministry is giving regular updates on the situation.

According to an estimation, the Indian population in Ukraine is close to eight thousand and the students make up the major share of it. With the MBBS and other courses being cheap compared to India, students prefer Ukraine and other countries for education. Two students have lost their lives in Ukraine so far.

When Ukraine found itself in the middle of a problematic situation, the Indian government had decided to airlift Indians from Ukraine. For the same, a massive operation named Operation Ganga was started. Six planes have brought Indians and the aircraft belongs to the Air India company.
