I'm disappointed but not defeated: Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir expresses his disappointment over Selectors giving him thumbs down for the Test Series against new Zealand. This is what he has to say about being sidelined yet again: 'I'm disappointed but not defeated; I'm cornered but not a coward. Grit my partner, courage my pride...for, I must fight, I must fight…'.
Currently, Gambhir is acting as the skipper of India Blue side in Duleep Trophy. He scored four half centuries in a row during the ongoing tourney.
Selectors, however, preferred to choose the squad of Skipper Virat Kohli's choice. Virat showed confidence on Shikhar Dhawan inspite of his poor form. The agenda is to built a strong side with youngsters rather than relying on seniors who would retire in an year or two.
India Squad for Tests against New Zealand: Virat Kohli (captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, M Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Wriddhiman Saha, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Amit Mishra, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav.
