Man who arrested LK Advani enters Modi Cabinet

IAS Officer Raj Kumar Singh, who was serving as Bihar Govt Secretary in October 1990, was assigned the task.
Mr. Singh travelled from Bihar capital Patna to Samastipur in a Government chopper. He reached Circuit House where LK Advani was staying at that time and knocked on the door to say he have a warrant to arrest him. Then, LK Advani was brought to the Masanjor guest house in Dumka district.
26 Years after Advani's arrest, Raj Kumar Singh got inducted into Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet. The 64-Year-Old is a 1975-batch officer of Bihar Cadre. He served as Union Home Secretary in UPA Regime. Ahead of 2014 Polls, He shifted loyalty to BJP and got elected from Arrah Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar. Finally, Mr.Singh got his reward after three years.
