IB Sleuths To Track Down Corona Patients In Telangana

The Telangana Government has deployed the IB sleuths to track those Corona suspect persons who have gone underground. A large number of those returning from foreign countries in recent times have given fake information and vanished from the scene. These people who could have been Corona positive, are flouting self-quarantine norms and are moving freely in the society. This could lead to a health calamity as they can infect many more people.
According to intel sources, as many as 18000 people came from various countries. While a large number of them were sent for isolation, a significant number of them managed to evade the screening and slipped out of the airport. Several of them, gave wrong information about their residence and have gone to their respective places. These persons are actually not following the quarantine rules and are moving freely in their areas. According to the authorities, as many as 100 persons came from the UK in the last three days. The authorities have also set up a command and control room in the secretariat to keep track of the patients.
The government is planning to track the patients with the help of 25000 Asha workers and 31000 Anganwadi workers. These workers would be made to install a special app into their tabs to keep track. They will feed the data on a day-to-day basis. As of now, as many as 12486 people in the state are under home quarantine. As many as 456 persons have come into contact with Covid positive persons.
