IBM Female Employee arrested in Drugs Case
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 July 2017 4:58 AM GMTEktha Negi, an IBM Employee, was arrested for alleged possession of Ganja and released on bail later. She works as Network Administrator in the multi-national company.
The 22-Year-Old denied using drugs and alleged cops had framed her. 'My reputation has been damaged because I believed strangers. Using the Facebook page Flats & Flatmates, Two Girls came in touch with Me and became my Flatmates. After the night shift, I came to my room and slept. My Roommate opened the door using other key. Later, Cops searched the flat and found a container with Ganja. Myself, My Roommate and three of our friends (Boys) were arrested. Why Cops target Drug Users instead of Drug Peddlers?,' she said.
Whereas, Cops disclosed Ektha Negi had confessed taking Ganja on her birthday.
IBM served a notice to Ektha Negi. The Malaysian Township Association asked her to vacate the flat.
