South Africa's destructive batsman AB de Villiers and Australia skipper Steve Smith have been felicitated for their superb form in the past one year. While AB de Villiers was awarded ODI Player of the Year 2015, Steve Smith bagged Test Player of the Year 2015 & Cricketer of the Year 2015.
Steve Smith was only the seventh player in History to win both Test Player & Cricketer of the Year awards. His former teammates Michael Clarke and Mitchell Johnson achieved this feat for the years 2013 and 2014 respectively.
Steve Smith was the leading run-scorer in Tests with 1,734 runs in 25 innings at an average of 82.57. This include 7 Centuries.
AB de Villiers managed 1,265 runs in 20 innings at an average of 79. He score two centuries and nine half-centuries during this period.
