The recent survey of the Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR) has raised many concerns about the effectiveness of the virus as 40 people who did not have any travel history and did not come in contact with the medical staff and sanitary workers were tested positive.

This survey is adding fuel to the reports that the stage 3 of the deadly virus was started in the country where the virus is spread even though they did not have any travel history.

Going into detail, between February 15th to April 2 ICMR has conducted COVID tests to 5,911 people who were having between having respiratory-related problems. Out of them, 40 persons did not have any travel history and did not come in contact with the positive cases directly.

This survey was carried out by the ICMR in 20 states, union territories. The outcome of the study has left everyone in a shock that despite taking all the safety measures how come the virus is spreading its deadly virus.

The study has also found that people suffering from respiratory problems before March 14 were not infected by the deadly virus whereas post-April 2, more than 2.6 percent of people were infected with the virus.

Looking at the state-wise list of the people suffering from the respiratory disease, Gujarat tops the list with 792 cases followed by Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Kerala with 577, 533 and 503 cases respectively.
