IIT-Gandhinagar Researchers Came Up with AI-Based Tool To Detect The Virus
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Jun 2020 2:31 PM GMTIn the wake of positive cases increasing in India rapidly, researchers at IIT-Gandhinagar developed a learning tool to detect the virus through the X-ray images. The Tool completely works on Artificial Intelligence(AI).
The researchers claimed that the technology will help in detecting the virus in a quick manner. This tool designates the probability of a person in terms of whether he/she got infected with the virus or not.
This enables a quick preliminary diagnosis, before conducting the pandemic tests to detect the virus in the patients. The toll uses X-rays for a quick analysis.
The AI-based tool is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH). Once the body gives a green signal to make use of its services. This will be a game-changer in detecting the virus.
