Ilayaraja In Trouble For Religious Comments

Music maestro Ilaiyaraja seems to have developed a knack to pick up fight when there is a no necessity for it.
He rejected National Award for Best Back ground score saying that he should get award for total album but not for a part of his work.
Then he sent legal notices to his long time friend and legendary singer, SP Balasubramanyam asking him to not sing his songs in the middle of his US Tour.
Now, in between his local concert in Tamil Nadu, he made comments about Christians belief of Jesus resurrection is false and said that many enthusiasts are posting videos on YouTube after research..
He played a video and also said that it is only Ramana Maharishi who historically made a resurrection after death.
This made Christian community to demand action against the composer. They said that they believe in Jesus resurrection and the comments made by Ilayaraja are hurting their sentiments.
Taking their demands into consideration, Collector of Chennai asked police to take action against the composer and file a case. T. Nagar, Chennai Police are on that duty now.
