IMA says, Pandemic vaccine can reach usable level post 2020

In the light of many pharma giants and pioneers not leaving any stone unturned to come up with a potential vaccine that could cure the pandemic, a top most official of Indian Medical Association (IMA) made some serious claims.
The official maintained that the pandemic vaccine will enter the stage where the vaccine can be used, is only after 2020 as there are certain things which need to be looked into like developing the potential vaccine and marketing the same.
Listing out the issues faced during developing the vaccine, Dr V K Monga, IMA Board of Hospitals Chairman said that there will be multiple stages for testing the vaccine so that no side effects arise when the patient takes the medicine.
Dr. Monga maintained that, going by the current situation we can see that community transmission has started in India and said migrants who left for their native places placed a crucial role in these transmission.
He added that the only good thing about the spread of the virus is that the recovery rate is very high than the active cases and people started following safety measures.
Looking at the cases in India, a total of 38,902 fresh cases were reported in the last 24 hours and the total infections zoomed to 10,77,618. So far 26,816 people have succumbed to the virus.
