World's Heaviest Woman gets Indian Visa

Iman Ahmad Abdulati, who is a resident of Alexandria in Egypt, is believed to be the World's heaviest woman. At the age of 11, Her weight toughed the 500 kg mark. Since then, she hasn't left her home.
Experts say, Iman suffers from disruption of the glands which leads to storage of large quantity of water. A parasite named as elephantiasis results in excessive swelling.
Mumbai-based surgeon Dr.Muffi Lakdawala brought the condition of the Egyptian Woman to the notice of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. He told that her visa application to land in India for treatment was turned down the Immigration Officials.
Sushma who has been in AIIMS for kidney transplantation responded quickly and replied to the Doctor, 'Thanks for bringing this to my notice. We will definitely help her. The patient was granted medical visa quickly.
