Imran Khan To Invite Modi For Swearing-In

He is now contemplating on inviting leaders of SAARC Nations including Indian PM Narendra Modi to his oath-taking ceremony.
The Former Cricketer will swear-in as Pakistan PM on August 11th. PTI's Core Committee is considering whether or not to invite Indian Prime Minister for the oath-taking ceremony.
PM Narendra Modi called Imran Khan to congratulate him over the victory in general elections. Imran Khan thanked Modi and wished to resolve the issues through dialogue by saying wars lead to tragedies. In his victory speech, The 65-Year-Old told Pakistan is willing to improve bilateral ties if India is ready - 'If you take one step forward, we will take two steps forward'. This could mark a new chapter in relations between both the neighbouring countries.
Fawad Chaudhry who is PTI Spokesperson told decision on extending invitation to Indian PM will be taken after consultation with Pak Foreign Ministry.
