Ever since the controversy came to light, Anjali has been behaving strangely and her arrogance might even land her in more troubles.
Apparently, Anjali has been repeatedly failed to appear before the court in connection with the defamation suit filed against her by Tamil director Kalanjiyam whom she accused of conspiring with her aunt Bharathi Devi and harassed her. Despite warning by the Chennai High Court, Anjali failed to summon before the court again. Finally, the judge asked the actress to face an arrest warrant if she didn't turn up for the next hearing on July 9th.
None could understand why Anjali is playing this risky game, despite repeated warnings from the court. She has to be present before the court soon, or else she will regret for not abiding by the order of justice. Filmmakers have been worried about their projects if Anjali lands in more controversies and so no one is daring to cast her at present.
Recently, Anjali tasted yet another success with 'Balupu' and her upcoming release will be 'Singham' in which she has done an item number. She is also playing one of the female leads in Venkatesh-Ram's 'Golmaal' which is a Telugu remake of Bollywood hit 'Bol Bachchan'. It may be mentioned that this homely beauty hasn't signed any new projects post the controversy.
