The lavish budget of historical film 'Rudrama Devi' which stars Anushka in the lead role is surprising the trade pundits as spending over Rs 40 crore on a women-centric film is something no one dared to do in Tollywood till date.
Apparently, Gunasekhar is leaving no stone unturned to bounce back with 'Rudrama Devi' which is being directed and produced by him. Living up to his reputation, He constructed the 'Veyyi Sthambala' temple set at Annapurna 7 acres studio under the supervision of art director Thota Tharani for the movie. About 1000 junior artistes will be participating in the shoot along with the lead cast. Some portions of talkie and Two songs will be shot here.
Unit sources say, Gunasekhar isn't compromising on any aspect and wants everything best for his film. He managed to rope some of the big names in the Industry to make his dream a reality. If he could succeed in bringing out the best from the cast and crew, nothing could stop him from minting money after the release. Else, this seasoned filmmaker will be incurring heavy losses for sure as huge money is at stake.
