In encouraging Party Hoppers, TDP and YSRCP are same!
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 March 2021 9:33 AM GMTolitics is a power game. That is the reason why the leaders always look at shifting their loyalties to the ruling parties. During the regime of the previous TDP party, YSRCP lost several leaders with this.
Five years later, YSRCP and TDP changed their positions. The then ruling TDP slipped into opposition, while the then opposition YSRCP rose to power in the 2019 General elections.
To everyone's surprise, the YSRCP which has been accusing the TDP of encouraging leaders to shift their loyalties is doing the same. After the local body elections, a few TDP Corporators have joined the YSRCP.
According to the media reports, as many as seven Corporators, who won in the recently held civic body elections on TDP ticket met Gajuwaka MLA and unofficially shifted their loyalties to YSRCP.
Looking at the significance of the alleged party hopping incident, if these leaders really join the opposition, then the TDP will not have any Corporator representation in the Gajuwaka region.
In the elections, YSRCP and TDP had won seven corporator seats respectively.CPI, CPM, and Pawan Kalyan's Janasena had won, one Corporatot seat each.
While the TDP supporters and YSRCP supporters are blaming the other party for party hoppers, the neutral voters are in a feeling that when it comes to attracting leaders from others no party is less and all are equal. End of the day, both parties are earning a bad image for themselves.
