Even after showing development, Why did TDP lose power in 2005 elections? turned out to be the question in present generation youth. TDP recently gave an explanation for this question. They stated that their way of forcing government employees to work more perfectly turned out to be a ban for them in 2005.
It is known that Chandra Babu Naidu raised the pace of private sector by creating Hyderabad as a software hub. During 2000 2005, Chandra Babu Naidu felt like raising the standards of government sector similar to that of private sector. To make this happen, Chandra Babu Naidu tightened the rules and this showed affect in 2005 elections.
Adding to this, Chandra Babu Naidu gave high priority to software and industrial growth compared to agriculture and farmers. This turned out to be another minus point for TDP as AP is basically an agriculture backdrop region. Now, TDP is trying cover its past mistakes by saying that they will join hands with government employees for better tomorrow. Instead of punishing, TDP is aspiring to team up with government employees for better society. Similarly, they are now giving high priority to agriculture and farmers.
