Congress Party had several big shots in the form of Botsa, Purandeshwari, Pallam Raju, Kiran Kumar Reddy and many more. Now, very few of the big shots are still in Congress. Majority of the top level politicians vacated their seats in Congress party and migrated to other leading parties.
After bifurcation, Botsa and Chiranjeevi are considered to be the main loyal politicians for Congress. They encountered the most worst situations in the state and they still decided to move ahead with the party. Compared to Chiru, Botsa lost everything in his constituency. People in Vizianagaram are now feeling like throwing stones on Botsa, if he enters the zone.
With this, Botsas political career is considered to be completed in the history of AP politics. But, few Congress leaders supported Botsa and requested high command to continue him as PCC chief for Congress in AP. But, Congress high command threw him away from power and sources from Congress are saying that Congress high command is now least bothered about the position of Botsa. Analysts are saying that Botsa, who ruled Congress party in AP for a while is now an unheard voice in the party!
