India is on a roll in the ongoing T20 Worldcup. The Men In Blue led by Hitman Rohit Sharma is at the top position in the table with six points with three wins. The nail-biting win India registered against Bangladesh yesterday took India to the top position. India won the match by 5 runs in the DLS method.

Indian fans are still in the trance of winning the match against Bangladesh. Making the win a special one, the match registered record viewership in Disney+ Hotstar which is the streaming partnership of the World Cup. It is said that a massive 19 Million viewers watched the film the other day.

The record viewership India vs Bangladesh received is higher than India vs Pakistan match which received 18 million views. It is even higher than India vs Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

A few reasons have resulted in the match seeing record numbers. The match played between India and Bangladesh was crucial as the match was the deciding match. India made its place strong for the semis race by winning the match. If India would have lost the match, then we would have to wait on the result of other matches to get a spot.

Fans who watched the match had Paisa Vasool with the twists and turns the match had. India lost the early wicket of Rohit. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli set things right. When everything was going right Rahul went back to the pavilion after a half-century.

In the end, young bowler Arshdeep Singh bowled a crucial over and made India win the match by five runs. As a table topper, India will now lock horns with Zimbabwe on Sunday and the semis will be the next stop of Men in Blue.
