Improving the overseas record, the Virat Kohli-led team India is winning series one after the other countries. Earlier Indian had retained the Border-Gavaskar trophy and almost won the Test series against England in England, team India had started the South Africa series on an auspicious note.

As a historic win, team India had crushed South Africa in its backyard with a big margin of 113 runs in the first test. The historic win takes India to take an early lead in the series. With two matches left in the series, Indian fans are hoping that team India would break the jinx and register a series win which is a long waiting one.

Stylish batsman KL Rahul gave a solid start to the Indian innings with a stunning century. Though the batsman could not benefit from it, the bowlers played their part in making India taste the early success. In both innings, Indian bowlers displayed their class.

Centurion has been the fortress of South Africa. But India did not let the opponent take the early lead. Despite the South African batsman showing strong determination, Indian bowlers held their nerves and took wickets at regular intervals.

Mohammed Shami started the party with an early wicket and yorker king Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took on from there. It was R. Ashwin's show at the end who took two wickets in two consecutive deliveries.
