India @ 84,62,081 Infections And 1,25,562 Fatalities

The ongoing novel Coronavirus continues to ring the danger bells in India as the total pandemic infections went past 8.46 million with the fresh infections reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the data issued by the Union Health Ministry, India reported as many as 50,357 fresh infections in the last 24 hours, which takes the total toll to 84,62,081.
Over the past week, India managed to bring down the average of fresh infections to 48,000 cases. The other day, India witnessed 47,638 new cases. The fresh cases increased by 5.7 percent today.
On the bright note, 53,920 patients have been recovered and got discharged from the hospitals in the 24 hours, the total pandemic recoveries in the country zoomed to 7,819,886.
In a piece of good news, the recovery rate of the country zoomed to 92.4 percent, while the Coronavirus active case stood at 516,632.
With 577 patients breathing their last in the past 24 hours, the total fatalities in connection with the pandemic zoomed to 125,562 deaths
Looking at the global scenario, the total infections are inching towards the 50 million mark. While 35,251,727 patients have been recovered so far, 1,248,566 patients have succumbed to the virus.
