India @ 87,28,795 Infections And 1,28,688 Fatalities

In a piece of good news, India the second severely hit nation witnessed less than 50,000 infections in the past 24 hours, which pushes the total tally to past 8.7 lakh mark.
India reported as many as 44,879 infections in a span of 24 hours. With this, the country reported less than 50k cases for six days in a row. India currently has 8,728,795 infections.
The massive dip in active Covid-19 and the constant increase in the fresh recoveries is the only hope for the country as so far, more than eight lakh infected people have been recovered.
The data issued by the Union Health Ministery stated that the active cases and recovered cases of the novel Coronavuirus in the country stood at 4,84,547 and 81,15,580 respectively.
On the other hand, as many as 547 patients have succumbed to the pandemic in the past 24 hours, which takes the total fatalities related to the virus to 1,28,688.
Coming to Telangana, as many as 997 fresh cases were reported in the last 24 hours and the total cases in the state zoomed to 2,55,663. With four new casualties, total fatalities mounted to 1,397.
On Thursday, Andhra Pradesh reported 1,728 new infections, which push the total caseload to 8,49,705. While 822011 patients have been recovered so far, the active cases stood at 20857.
The global Covid-19 infections mounted to 52,678,681, while not less than 1,292,228 patients have breathed their last battling the respiratory disease so far.
