India's Cheeta wakes up from Coma after Weeks

Commanding Officer of CRPF Chetan Kumar Cheeta was shot by the Terrorists at least 9 times during the gun battle in Bandipora district of Kashmir in February 2017. He didn't stop firing bullets at the Militants inspite of collapsing to the ground.
Chetan Kumar Cheeta slipped into coma. He was shot in the head and other parts of the body. When he was brought to the AIIMS's trauma centre in Delhi, Cheeta was in a very critical condition. Weeks later, He woke up from coma and finally got discharged from the hospital Today.
Cheeta's wife Uma Singh claims to be so proud of her Husband. Doctors informed that all the vital organs of the Officer are in good condition. They say first surgery at Srinagar saved his life. However, His right eye isn't good yet.
Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju termed the recovery of Cheeta as nothing short of a miracle. The Minister even told Cheeta that he wishes to see him again in Uniform. He thanked doctors for doing a great job.
