With India witnessing as many as 78,524 fresh Coronavirus related infections in the past 24 hours, the total count of Coronavirus infections in the country rose to 68,35,655. Compared to yesterday, fresh cases increased by over 6,000.

On the other hand, with 971 patients losing their lives battling the respiratory disease in the span of 24 hours, the total Covid-19 fatalities mounted to 1,05,526.

In a piece of good news, a total of 83,011 patients managed to recover from the virus and get discharged from the hospitals in the last 24 hours, thus taking the total recoveries toll to 58,27,704.

Going by the data issued by the Union Health Ministry, India has a total of 9,02,427 active cases. The recovered cases in the country nearly Decupled than that of active cases.

Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Telangana are the top ten states account for a lion share of India's caseload.

Telangana witnessed 1,896 fresh Coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours and the total cases in the state rose to 2,06,644, while 1201 patients succumbed to the virus so far.

On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh witnessed 5,120 fresh infections on Wednesday and the state’s caseload rose to 7,34,427. So far 6,086 patients lost their lives to the virus in the state.

Globally, the total infections mounted to a whopping 36,381,183. So far, a total of 27,402,045 patients have been recovered from the virus, while 1,059,996 patients succumbed to the virus.

United States(7,776,224), India(6,832,988 ) Brazil((5,002,357) and Russia (1,248,619) continue to be the severely affected nations in the world with Coronavirus outbreak.
