A brave India, driven by its daring youngsters, pulled off an invigorating three-wicket win over Australia in the fourth Test to clinch the series 2-1 and retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at The Gabba on Tuesday.

The Gabba fortress has been breached and a young Indian team has chased down 327 to create the history and it's Rishabh Pant, who made a victorious 89 off 138 deliveries and led the team towards the win.

Shubman Gill with an excellent 91 and Pujara with a patient 211-ball 56 ensured India bossed the match and in the end, the young wicketkeeper-batsman with his stunning batting performance scripted an enthralling win.

Apparently, India becomes the first team to beat Australia at the Gabba since the West Indies in 1988. The team defeated the Australian side at their fortress without the services of top players like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul and a few others.
