India Crossed 16 Lakh Mark With Highest Spike Of 55,079 Cases

As of now, the active cases in the country currently stand at 5,45,318 with 35,747 casualties, while the 1,638,870 coronavirus cases recorded so far in the country, according to the Union health ministry.
As many as 10,57,805 COVID-19 patients have been cured and discharged so far. The total Covid-19 samples tested up to 30th July is 1,88,32,970 including 6,42,588 samples tested yesterday.
However, infections are rising quickly in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Yet, India’s recovery rate continues to rise and now stands at 64.5 percent.
