India Currently Has Over 26 Lakh Pandemic Cases

India reported as many as 57,982 fresh cases of the ongoing pandemic in the last 24 hours. With this, the total cases in the country pass surged 26 lakh-mark and stood at 26,47,664.
The total fatalities in connection with the respiratory disease mounted to 50,921, with 941 patients breathing their last breath battling the contagious disease in a single day.
On a brighter note, a total of 19,19,843 patients have been recovered from the ongoing pandemic in the country so far, taking the toll of the active cases to 19,19,843.
Andhra Pradesh reported 8,012 fresh pandemic cases on Sunday taking the toll of the total cases to 2.89. So far 2,650 people lost their lives due to the dreaded virus.
Telangana added 894 fresh cases in a single day which takes the total cases in the state to 92,255. With 10 fresh casualties, total casualties jumped to 703.
Globally, the total infections rose to 21,817,682 while 14,553,205 patients recovered from the disease. As many as 772,751 people succumbed to the contagious disease so far.
