Amid this, it is believed that India is making plans to join hands with Pfizer to bring the vaccine here to vaccinate the public here. India is the second worst-affected nation globally with the Covid-19 outbreak.

As the vaccine candidate developed by Pfizer is said to be stored at minus 70 degrees Celsius, the centre shifted its focus to make the required arrangements to store the vaccine candidates.

It has been widely reported that the arrangements are being made at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, in the financial capital of India Mumbai to store the vaccines at the preferable temperature.

To store and distribute the vaccine candidates at Mumbai airport, the authorities have increased the cold storage facilities in the airport. Once the vaccine reaches there, it can be distributed safely.

To store and distribute the vaccine doses, special trick docks and other machines were being built up in the airport allegedly so that there will be no gap in the chain of distribution.
