India Gears Up For Historic Day-Night Test Match

Play will begin at 1 PM, unlike the 9.30 AM start time followed for Test Matches in India. Pink Balls will be preferred in Day-Night Tests for better visibility under the lights.
Out of 11 Day-Night Tests played so far, Australia holds an impeccable record with 5 wins in 5 matches. 8 out of 12 Test-playing Nations have played Day-Night Test so far. Way back in 2018, India turned down the offer to play a Day-Night Test in Australia. With Tomorrow's match, Both India and Bangladesh will be making their debut with the pink ball. Credit goes to new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly for convincing both the teams to venture into a new path.
Several dignitaries will be gracing the historic Pink Ball Test between India and Bangladesh. Apart from Legends of Indian Cricket& other Sports, Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee are going to watch the match from the gallery in Eden Gardens.
Viewership will increase greatly for Day-Night Tests due to the timings. Majority of the tickets for the second Test Match had been sold out already. BCCI placed an order for 72 Pink Balls for this match. During the Lunch Break of the second Test Match, None other than Sachin, Sourav, Dravid, Laxman and Kumble will share their thoughts about the Pink Ball Test in the Talk Show.
