India Has 30 Days To Contain Corona Virus

China, Italy, Iran and Spain are the most affected countries in the World by Corona Virus. China tried to contain the Vitus spread within Wuhan first but it already spread all over the country before they understood the seriousness of the situation.
Slowly, it became a global news and many thought it would be an epidemic that will be contained by China in days but it has become a pandemic in few months.
ICMR scientists observed a pattern for Covid-19 spread and they said there are 4 stages in its spread. They identified that India is in the second stage and should look to contain it in the second stage only.
The four stages are:
- First Stage: Entering into a country through foreign countries.
- Second Stage: Transmitting to people from infected
- Third Stage: Mass Transmission
- Fourth Stage: Becoming an Epidemic
ICMR Director General Balaram Bhargav said that India is in second stage and identified the first stage very early. He praised Indian Government steps in containing the virus in first two stages.
He gave 30 days time to India before it enters third stage and hoped that we can contain the virus spread at second stage only.
He opined that India cannot afford third stage and fourth stage level spread of Covid-19 with vast population. According to ICMR China saw Fourth Stage and it is trying to recover from it.
Iran, Italy, European Countries, America and Australia are in third stage. These countries have been introducing lock down and complete shut down kind of measures to tackle the virus spread. Balaram Bhargav opined that India cannot afford massive lockdown and it is impractical too.
