India has 4.12 lakh Millionaire Households, Mumbai tops the list

The financial capital Mumbai has the highest number of dollar-millionaire households, while the national capital Delhi stood in second place in the list of cities with the highest number of dollar-millionaire households.
According to Hurun India Wealth Report, financial capital Mumbai has 16,933 millionaire households and contributes nearly 6.16 percent to India's Gross domestic product (GDP).
Bengaluru, stood at fourth place in the list with 7,582 millionaire households, while Chennai(4,685), Maharashtra (56,000), Uttar Pradesh (36,000), Tamil Nadu (35,000), Karnataka (33,000), and Gujarat (29,000) are at the next places.
To publish the report, Hurun has surveyed 449 Indian millionaires with a wealth of seven crores, while 62 out of the millionaires have a wealth of Rs 100 crore, who fall under the super-rich category.
These millionaires prefer to invest in Real Estate and Stock markets and Mercedes, BMW, and Jaguar are their preferred Luxury car brands. Lamborghini, Porsche, and Aston Martin are their preferred luxury sports car variants.
India is in fourth place in the global countries with individuals with ultra-high net worth. The United States, China, and Germany are in the top three positions. India is in fourth place with 4,593 Ultra-high net worth individuals.
