Why India is deadliest for Journalists?

As many as 67 journalists got killed in the line of duty and another 43 journalists died for circumstances that were unclear. In Iraq and Syria alone, About 11 and 10 deaths each were reported. 8 journos were killed in France this year.
While 2/3rd of journos killed were in war zones in 2014, The situation was completely contrast in 2015 with 2/3rd deaths reported in peaceful countries. In India alone, 9 journalists were murdered in 2015. While five of them were killed while being on duty, Four others for reasons unclear. RSF rates India as Asia's deadliest nation for media personnel and appealed GOI to come up with a national plan to protect journos.
