India makes worlds first male contraceptive injection

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a biomedical research body, completed their trials on the groundbreaking product, but it now must be sent to the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for final approval.
Scientists in the US have also been working on a similar drug, but a drug trial conducted in 2016 had to be stopped because of the side effects.
