India Ranked 4th Most Powerful Military

As per Global Fire Power Index 2017, India have World's Fourth Most Powerful Military Power. While US, Russia and China occupy the top 3 spots, Pakistan has been ranked 13th in the list and the rival nation entered Top 15 only last year. Countries like France, Germany, UK, Japan and Israel are far behind India.
About 13,62,500 personnel are active in Indian Army. China's Military strength is 37,12,500, almost triple to that of India.
Indian Air Force have 2,102 Aircrafts including 676 Fighter Jets & 809 Attack Aircrafts. China have 2,955 Aircrafts including 1,271 Fighter Jets, 1,385 Attack Aircrafts and 206 Attack Choppers.
Indian Army have 4,426 combat tanks, 6,704 armored fighting vehicles, 209 self-propelled artillery guns and 7,414 towed artillery guns. Pakistan, on the other hand, have 2,924 combat tanks, 2,828 armored fighting vehicles, 426 artillery guns and 3,278 towed artillery guns. China have 6,457 combat tanks, 4,788 armored fighting vehicles, 1,710 self-propelled artillery guns and 6,246 towed guns.
In Aircraft Carriers, India dominates China by having three in number against one with the neighboring nation. Pakistan don't even have an Aircraft Carrier. India have 11 destroyers and 15 submarines. China have 35 destroyers and 68 submarines.
India's Defence Budget is $51 billion as against Pakistan's $7 billion and China's $161.7 billion.
