India Records Biggest Single-Day Jump With 11,929 Fresh Cases

The total number of Covid cases in the country has risen to 3,20,922 after a record 11,929 fresh infections were reported in 24 hours. According to figures released by the Ministry of Health, 311 deaths were reported in last 24 hours taking the death toll to 9,195 in the country.
While 1,49,348 cases are being treated with Covid complications, 1,62,378 have recovered and discharged from the hospital.
As per ICMR, over 55 lakh coronavirus tests have been conducted up to 13th June and about 1.43 lakh samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Needless to say that the virus is severely hitting the country and the experts interpret that the cases toll will rise in the coming months as the season favours the flu's to spread fastly.
