India Registers Lowest Fresh Covid-19 Infections With 30,548 Cases Since July 15

In a piece of good news, India registered the lowest fresh Coronavirus infections in four months with as many as 30,548 cases in the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry's data said.

India reported less than 30,000 fresh pandemic infections in a single day was on the 15th of July. On the date, India registered as many as 29,429 pandemic related infections.

With the fresh addition of cases, the Country's caseload zoomed to 88,45,127. The other day India registered as many as 41,100 new cases. Compared to yesterday, the fresh cases went down by 25 percent.

The fresh Covid-19 fatalities have also decreased rapidly as 435 people have succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, which takes the total casualties to 1,30,070.

More than 93 percent of the Pandemic patients beating the virus is giving hope to the country. With 43,851 fresh recoveries, the total recoveries mounted to 82,49,579. The active cases stood at 4,65,478.

The other day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called for a review meeting as the third wave of the pandemic has started in the national capital Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also present at the meeting.

Telangana has also registered fewer cases in recent times with 502 fresh infections in the past 24 hours. The total caseload zoomed to 2,57,876. With 2,42,084 patients beating the virus, the active cases stood at 14,385.

Andhra Pradesh registered 1.056 new cases on Sunday, taking the total caseload to 854011. With 14 fresh casualties, the total fatalities related to Covid-19 zoomed to 6868.

Globally, the total toll mounted to 54,802,832. While 38,128,912 patients have recovered so far, 1,324,025 patients breathed their last battling the pandemic.
